Buddhist Music Album “Sentient Being Meets the Bodhisattva”
The album “Sentient Being Meets the Bodhisattva” is the first Buddhist music album produced by The Mahaprajna Buddhist Society. Its lyrics not only reflect the profound insights into Buddhist teachings accumulated by Master Hou Zhong over the years, but at the same time the songs aim to convey Buddhist education to the public, encouraging “practise according to the Dharma to lead to liberation.” The background music combines Eastern and Western elements, showcasing the adaptability of Buddhism as it evolves with times. Its Bodhi-inspired melodies flow in harmonious yet distinctive layers — dignified and full of Dharma joy, or full of hope, or gentle and compassionately — each note resonating touchingly with the listeners.
The Mahaprajna Buddhist Society Choir hopes to popularize Buddhist music education. With musician Teacher Zhang Fan as its music consultant and the Society’s Dharma Class graduate Brother Lin Shengrun as conductor, the singing is delightfully charming and nourishes the soul.

Buddhist Music Album “Blessings”
“Blessings” is the second Buddhist music album released by our Society, featuring ten Buddhist songs with lyrics by Master Hou Zhong. The album’s arrangements are contributed by dedicated musicians, including Teacher Zhang Fan and Bro Lin Shengrun, who have all volunteered their talents to foster good karma and generate merits.
In celebration of our Society’s 30th anniversary, we have specially produced this “Blessings” Buddhist music album to commemorate the occasion and to wish everyone happiness year after year.
